African Pink Ponk King -Aruna Quadri Bow Out

The African Pink Pong king and world no 25 Table Tennis Player- Aruna Quadri of Nigeria,  who started his season in Hungaria Open {19-22 January 2017} on a remakable note by exited in the quater final. It will be recalled, in his first match in the round of 32, he sends shiver down the other players by dispatching Steffen Menge of Germany with his powerful forhand play. He then displayed his fine foot work speed to defeat a more experienced Konecny Tomas from Czech 4-3 to book his place in the last 8. But he later succumbed to fatigue in quater final to Filus Rumen of Germany with hard fought 3-4. He has decided not to participate in the just concluded India Open; so as to rest for the Doha Open 23-26 February 2017.

In the just concluded Seamaster 2017 ITTF World Tour India Open, the Single Title was won by world no 6  and Olympics 2016 Bronze Medal-Ovtcharov Dimitril Of Germany. He defeated hard fighting 13 years old  and world no 64 -Harimoto TomokaZu of Japan 4-0. The female Title was won by Japanese Mori Sakara after conquered Swedist Ekholm Mitilda with close 4-3 final score.
