Fred Kerley Reach Another Height As Tired Olympics Champion Thompson Breaks Meet Record In Paris

The Tokyo Olympics 100m medalist Fred Kerley, who has also won 400m bronze medal at last World Athletics championship moved into another gear height in Paris leg of Diamond League on Saturday (28).

In the 200m, Fred surged into a new personal best of 19.79s to win after holding off in-form Kenneth Bednarek who also clocked the same time. Botswana Issac Makwala was fifth in 20.26s.

The fastest woman living, Jamaica Elaine Thompson-Heran won the 100m female in a new meet record of 10.72s. Shericka Jackson was second in 10.97s while British Asher-Smith Dina was third in 11.06s.
