Pan American Champion Omar Craddock Ban For 20 Months

The Pan American triple jump champion, American Omar Craddock who was provisional suspended last year November for whereabouts failure has now been banned. According to Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), Omar is now been banned for 20 months.

Omar now ineligible from 13th November 2020 and all his results from 29th July 2020 to 13th November 2020 is now cancelled.

The 30-year-old Omar setting a new personal best of 17.68 metres in 2019 and also won Pan American Games gold for the United States in Lima the same year, with his mark of 17.42m narrowly seeing off Cuban Jordan Díaz. At the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha he placed 13th, and at the 2015 event in Beijing Craddock came fourth.
