Olympics Champion Kirani James And Olympics Medalist Botswana Nijel Amos Impressive Over 400m

At the Canyon Invitational in Pheonix, Arizona on Saturday (24) night, it was the 400m that had world class athlete on parade. But when the curtain was brought down on 400m men, the best result of the meet was from 400m.

The 2012 Olympics Champion in 400m, Granadian Kirani James locked horn with 2012 Olympics silver medalist in 800m, Botswana Nijel Amos over 400m. James won his first race in 44.88s to Amos 45.69s

James, who had not competed since the final of the 400m in Doha 2019 while Amos who is the 4th fastest 800m runner of all time at 1:41.73s competed last on July 17, 2020, in Eugene where he won a 600m race in 1:15.86
