The All African Games Champion, Botswana Isaac Makwala who has been struggling after recovered from an injury looks to have fixed himself up. On Saturday (17) at Gaborone stadium Makwala stormed to victory over 200m in 20.33s; with 2.4m/s wind. Despite the wind slightly above legal ‘the bad man of athletics’ will be more satisfied running the fastest time of the season under all condition. The second position Jayson Mandoze ran 21.29s.
In the 400m men, three people ran 45s. Ditro Nzamani took first in 45.74s followed by Boitumelo Masilo 45.86s and third by Leungo Scotch 45.96s.
Former world champion Amantle Montsho won the 400m in 54.02s against Thomphang Basele 54.54s.
