Mozambique Footballers Given Go-ahead To Resume Training Amid Covid-19 Restrictions

Mozambique’s Council of Ministers has reportedly given the go-ahead to each football team with less than 10 percent of Covid-19 positive cases to resume training according to Ludovina Bernardo, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, who was the spokesperson of the Council of the Ministers.

The top flight Mozambique Football League call Mocambola League which was suspended in February at the peak of spike in coronavirus cases may now start anytime from now.

President Filipe Nyusi said clubs should be committed to conducting regular tests – something they had not being doing properly before.

Any players who tested positive should be isolated, he added.
