European U-23 Champion Marcus Thomsen Demolish 32 Years Old Norwegian Record

In a cool Swedish city of Vaxjo, on the first day of February; not minding the small meet serenity. The 2017 European U-23 Shot Put Champion, Marcus Thomsen busted the 32 years old Norwegian Shot Put Indoor record with a powerful 21.09m, erasing 20.98m set by George Andersen on 4th, March 1989 at World Championships in Budapest.

The 23 years old 6 feet one, Marcus was followed by Viktor Gardenkrans 18.04m and Arwid Koskinen 17.26m.

His previous indoor best was 20.58m achieved in January 2019. He has personal bests of 20.59 metres outdoors, achieved at the 2019 Norwegian U23 Championships at Prestfoss.
