Usoro Out-jumped Ghanaian Acquah, Zimbabwean Matiyenga Humbled Ghanaian Yeboah As Algerian Takieddine Hedeilli Reigns Supreme

The Nigeria new record holder in the triple jump, elegant Ruth Usoro still kept her form on top at the Texas Classic on Friday (29). Usoro won the final by defeating ever improving Ghanaian Deborah Acquah. Usoro jumped 14.07m to Acquah 13.75m.

Algerian new sensation, Takieddine Hedeilli was 1.47.15s fast as he won 800m, but in the 60m, Zimbabwean Tinotenda Matiyenga 6.69s fourth place humbled Ghanaian Emmanuel Yeboah 6.78s to 7th place. Yeboah still finding hard to discover his form.

Another Zimbabwean Chengetayi Mapaya was on hand in triple jump as he won with 16.63m jump.
