Allman Nailed American Record In Idaho

The World cup bronze medalist, American Valerie Allman has nailed an American discus record in Idaho on Saturday 31. The 25 years old who currently taking a leave of absence from her Master’s program in Communications at Stanford University to train full-time. The full-time train has paid off as she has become the first American to throw over 70 as she hit 70.15

Allman who took 7th place at 2019 World championships in Doha, threw massive 70.15m in her first round in iron wood thrower centre, Idaho. The previous United States record of 69.17m belonged to Gia Lewis-Smallwood from 2014.

In the same meeting Javelin thrower, Kara Winger threw 64.44m to win the javelin.
