Another Four Kenyan In Doping Soup

Despite all spirited effort by Kenyan sporting authority to bring to an end embarrassing Kenya doping offences, but it seems much needed to be done as another four Kenyan were found guilty of different doping offences.

The 2017 World 1,500m champion Elijah Motonei Manang’oi, middle-distance runner, who is the reigning Continental Cup champion, has been flagged down by Athletes Integrity Unit (AIU) for a whereabouts failure offence (Article 2.4).

At the same time, banned another Kenyan Mercy Jerotich Kibarus for eight years for the presence of a prohibited substance Norandrosterone (Article 2:1) as Kenneth Kiprop Kipkemoi got two years ban for presence of Terbutaline (Article 2:1).

The fourth Kenyan, Patrick Siele was flank down for evading and refusing to submit to sample collection.
