French World Junior Climbing Champion Died After Mistake In Climbing Practice

The French Tokyo Olympics climbing hopeful and World Junior Climbing Champion, Douady, died over the weekend after falling while on climbing practice in the French Alps.

A 16 years old, Douady, died on Sunday after falling 150m the French Mountain Climbing Federation (FFME) confirmed.

A climbing prodigy, Douady was expected to form part of the French team at the Olympics at Tokyo in 2021 where the sport of climbing is set to make its debut.
