Some few hours ago, he produced a monster of a jump in the qualify to smashed his own African record from 17.58m to a new 17.77m. He later won the final in 17.47m.
In the same meet (Parish Indoor), Britain Kilty Richard was 4th in 60m with a decent 6.71s but Pozzi Andrew was a clear winner in 60h in 7.52s. Carnes Brandon of US won 60m in 6.61s and French girl Leduc Cynthia 7.25s PB won the 60m female.
Elsewhere in the Indoor Meeting Erfurt, German; former Nigerian International but now running for German Peter Emelieze was slow off the block to place 7th in final B 60m in 6.88s. In final A, Volvo Jan recorded 6.60s to beat British Bromby Oliver in 6.65s
