The SEC Collegiate US Championship received scintilating perfomance in the weekend when the NCAA 2017 400m indoor champion Fred Kerly showed how to simplistic run 400m. Kerly the Texas T&M undergraduate, running in the heat one from lane four raced to the world leading time of 44.09s to book his place in the final.
Kunle Fashasi and Obi Igbokwe did not disappoint by also book their place in the final. Obi Igbokwe, an undergraduate of Arkansas University took second in heat five after enduring a difficult lane {8} to returned 45.73s as fifth qualifier. Kunle Fashasi also ran on difficult lane {8} in fast heat one to came second in a time of 45.95s as 7th qualifier.
The other qualifier are Nathan Allen {45.25}, Akeem Bloomfield { 45.47s}, Mylik Kerly {45.72s}, Micheal Cherry{45.93s}, Randall Ceneus {46.02s} and Steven Garle {46.08s}
