The 60m world leader, Swoboda Ewa showed why she cannot be toy with this season. In the final of today Copernicus world tour in Torun, Ewa confidently beat Elaine Thompson to recorded an impressive 7.03s to 7.04s Elaine.

The World indoor shot put bronze medalist and Croatian discus and shot put record holder Mihaljevic Filip was in another planet of form on Tuesday (22) at the world tour Copernicus in Torun.

The Croatian shot put giant Filip, threw a world leading distance of 21.84m, a national record to win. He was closely followed by Polish strong man, Bukowiecki Konrad who was equally impressive by thrown 21.83m to place second.

Filip was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina but moved to Split, Croatia. Until the age of 17 he played football, eventually switching to shot put. When he began he was a natural and many people around him believed he would eventually be an impressive discus thrower because of his build.
