Another Sprint National Record For Rhasidat Adeleke, Ofili And Benjamin Impressed

Basking in euphoria of breaking Irish 200m indoor national record yesterday, Rhasidat Adeleke surged further on Saturday (5) to dispatched Molly Scott 7.23s two weeks old national record.

At New Mexico classic, Rhasidat a quarter miller moved her gear down to 60m and she was handsomely rewarded with another record after finishing third in 7.21s. This now make it her third national records within a month.

New Nigeria golden girl, Ofili Favour was at her awesome best again as she dipped 7.2s to finished second in 7.17s , losing to America Alia Armstrong who got away with a win in 7.16s.

Another Nigeria, Youth Olympics Champion Rosemary Chukwuma was equally impressive by finishing fifth in 7.25s while improved Nigerian Ese Awusa ran 7.46s from the rear.

In men 60m, Ghanaian national 100m record holder, Benjamin Azamati was scintillating form to win in 6.54s.
