Laura Muir Missed UK Record By A Whisker In Potchefstroom

The multiple UK record holder, Laura Muir got her endurance speed tested on Tuesday (25) at Potchefstroom meet. The mercurial Olympics medalist was chased to the line by her usual training partner, Jemma Reekie.

The duo fantastic run was a little bit short to upturn Jenny Meadows’ UK 600m indoor record of 1:25.81, which was recorded in 2007. But Laura was so close to finished in 1:26.89 to Reekie 1:26.95.
