Irish Adeleke And British Mokoyawo Win European U-20 Championship

Irish teenage sensation, Rashidat Adeleke finally crowned her impressive season on Friday (16); after winning the European U-20 female 100m in 11.34s. She beat Serbia Ilic Ivana (11.42s) to second and British Eze Joy (11.44s) to third place.

In the men 100m, British Mokoyawo Tobi was the champion in 10.25s equalling European U -20 lead. French Erius Jeff was second in 10.27s and Italian Matteo Melluzzo was third in 10.31s.

In the 800m female, Irish O’Neill Maeve failed to qualify for final after placing seventh in 2:10.60
