Saturday good weather snowballed to eyes pumping performance at the US trials.
It was Grant Holloway who first threatened the world record with a scotching 12.81s in the semifinal; almost nail Arrit Merritt 12.80s world record. He later ran 12.96s to win in the final.
Then in the 200m final, Gabby Thomas did unthinkable as she was classical dominant; even close to Florence Joyner world record of 21.34s. She now become the second fastest woman ever in 200m; even eclipsed Maria Jones with a winning time of 21.61s. Allyson Felix finished fifth in 22.11s.
Then in the hammer female, DeAnna Price went into extreme gear to produce a national record and second longest throw ever, threatened the Anita Wlodaczyk 80.85m with 80.31m.
Rai Benjamin was also very impressive over 400m hurdle with a second fastest ever time of 46.83s.
