The fastest living woman, Shelly-Ann Fraser- Pryce confirmed her ratin by running another scintillating time of 10.71s to win the Jamaica championship on Friday (25).
But in the final there was an upset, the Olympics champion Elaine Herah was displayed to third place by the dark horse Shericka Jackson. Jackson ran 10.82s to Elaine 10.84s.
A very impressive Jackson even ran 10.77s in the semifinal. Briana William was fourth in 11.01s.
In the men 100m, the world champion , Yohan Blake was beaten by Tyquendo Tracey who ran 10.00s to win. Blake ran 10.01s to place second after running 9.98s in the semifinal. Julian Forte was displaced to fourth place by Oblique Seville who ran 10.04s to Forte 10.07s.
