Zango World Leading Jump Breaks African Record As Pozzi, Thiem And Beatrice Impressed

The world indoor triple jump record holder, Hugues Fabrice Zango has eclipsed his own African record by 0.01cm by jumping a meet record and world leading jump of 17.67m to win the Meeting de Montreuil on Tuesday (1). The French man, Melvin Raffin came second with 17.19m jump.

British Andrew Pozzi was sizzling over the 110m hurdle in European lead time of 13.26s to win. Discus female went to Croatian Sandra Perkovic who threw 66.11m.

The Belgian Heptathlete, Nafissatou Thiam got the meet record in high jump with 1.89m jump. Another meet record was broken by Kenyan Beatrice Chebet who returned 14:52.06 over 5000m.
