Knowledge Omovoh And Ofili Hit New Best As Amarachukwu Obi Was In And Out

At the division one NCAA outdoor East preliminary on Thursday (27), it was a good day for Nigerian Knowledge Omovoh as she smashed her 400m personal best to recorded 53.17s to qualify for quarter final while Amarachukwu Obi did not had a good run to qualify after running 53.66s.

In the 200m, the African indoor record holder, Favour Ofili was literally flying to win her heat in another new personal best of 22.63s to win her heat and qualify for quarter final. This time around, Amarachukwu made sure her qualification in the 200m was sure when she recorded 23.49s to take up the last spot.

Another young Nigeria sensation, Anita Taviore was quick over the 200m in the west Division one preliminary to qualify in 23.18s personal best. But the Nigerian international, Yinka Ajayi missed out from qualification in 400m by tenths of second to finish in 53.63s.
