On Thursday (27), at the NAIA Championship, Nigerian Olympics Youth Games Medalist Emmanuel Ineh shattered the NAIA long jump record to win in 8.16m. He recorded the huge jump on his first jump. The hot Ineh will be trying later today to make it double in 100m after being the fastest in 10.33s (3.4) in heat.
His fellow Nigerian Aniekeme Etim was impressive in 200m where she won her heat in 23.55s and in 100m in 11.36s (2.3).
