At the Sunday (23) Adidas Boston Boost meet, a new Canadian 200m sensation, Jerome Blake took the headline. The 27-year-old Jerome took the world 400m record holder, Wayde Van Niekerk to cleaner. He won in a new personal best of 19.89s, the third fastest time for this season.
British Champion, Zharnel Hughes also hit personal best of 19.93s by placing third but Niekerk was fourth in pedestria time of 20.86s.
The shock of the night did not stopped as Olympics medalist, Ivorian Murielle Ahoure was fifth in 100m in 11.44s. The race was won by Aleia Hobbs in 11.05s.
In the male 100m, Isiah Young humbled World Champion, American Noah Lyles. Isiah returned 9.94s to Lyles 10.10s.
