Ethiopian- born Birhanu Balew Breaks Bahrain National Record In Style

Bahrain 5000m summer Olympics 2016 finalist, Birhanu Balew has broken four years old 27:11.08 Abraham Naibei Bahrain national record in 10000m.

The Ethiopian-born Bahrain runner, Balew followed the Uganda Jacob Kiplimouga in Ostrava Golden Spike yesterday. Despite the fast pace the Uganda, Belew was able to muster enough endurance strength to finish second in a new national record of 27:07.49 to a world leading time of 26:33.93 by Jacob.
