Terrence Laird Wins Sprint Double, Athing Mu, Noah Williams, Ofili And Acquah On Fire

The world leader in 200m this season, Terrance Laird confirmed his current form by srtiking double win at Sec Championship on Saturday (15).

Just few hours after his 9.80s (3.2) win in the 100m he then went into another sprint gear in the 200m with 19.82s (1.7) facility and meet record. Matthew Boiling recorded a personal best of 20.06s to come third while Joseph Fabuhbulleh was second in 20.05s personal best.

In the female, Tamara Clark won in 21.89s (4.1) over 200m to impressive Favour Ofili 22.16s. In the 400m women, Athing Mu ran the race of life to recorded 49.84s for her new personal best, facility and meet record and a college lead time.

The Ghanian long jump record holder, Deborah Acquah again showed why she’s the best female Ghanian athlete , she recorded another impressive personal best of 14.13m to place second behind 14.39m jump by Jasmine Moore.

Noah Williams continues his scintillating form of late as he demonstrated his mastery of 400m in 44.37s, a new facility record.
