Reigning World Champion Malaika Mihambo Was Very Impressive Over 150m And 300m At Pliezhausen Meet

The reigning World long jump champion, German Malaika Mihambo is really trying hard to improve her speed and endurance with her new coach the great Carl Lewis.

At the Pliezhausen German Meet on Saturday (8), the 27 years old Malaika who was born to a Tanzania father triumphed on 150m to beat Laura Muller in 17.44s to Laura 17.55s. Then over 300m, Laura, a quarter Miller got her revenge by winning in 37.42s to Malaika 37.47s.

In the men 150m, world 400m indoor champion Czech Pavel Maslak won in 15.74s but got beating in the 300m by Patrik Sorm who placed fourth with 16.13s run in 150m. Sorm recorded 32.25s the same time ran by Pavel in the 300m.
