The freshman and NCAA 60 metre 2021 Champion, nineteen years old Michal Williams is bursting in euphoria of a new found form. He was so pleased to have gotten his immediately target; getting within the US Olympics trial qualification of 10.05s.
At Arizona Tucson meet on Saturday (1), Micah bursted out to his quick strides to win in 10.03s (-1.0) and Gaston Bouchereau was second in 10.34s.
“A lot of people around me didn’t think I could make it out in track,” he said. “They said you had to go to a private school. But I knew if you put the work and time, it was possible.”
