Former Asian Junior Champion Taio Kanai Breaks Again Japan National Record As Asuka Terada Joined Suit

The 2014 Asian Junior Champion, Taio Kanai has again broken Japanese 110m hurdle on Thursday (29) at Oda memorial athletics meet.

Taio who first broke the national record in 2018 and later again last year. But this time around his 13.16s new record win at Edion Hiroshima stadium now stand third fastest time this season. Shunsuka Izamiya was second in 13.33s.

In the 100m hurdle, it was another new national record set by Asuka Terada who broke her national record by winning in 12.96s.

Another terrific performance was recorded in 100m and Javelin. In 100m, Ryota Yamagata produced quick 10.14s to win while impressive 82.52m Javelin throw by Takuto Kominami was enough to carry the day.
