South Africa Shaun Maswanganyi On Fire As Olympics Medalist Chelimo Strong Finished Emmanuel Bor

Brushing aside not being in the 60m NCAA final, South Africa Shaun Maswanganyi was on fire on Thursday (18) at Houston Spring Break Invitation as he came on top in 100m with quick 10.18s. Bryan Henderson was second in 10.24s.

Elsewhere at Virginia Beach Indoor Meet, Olympics silver and world championship bronze medalist, American Paul Chelimo had tough task in beating American soldier Emmanuel Bor to win the 5000m race in 13:09.90 to Bor 13:11.10. Coming in third is Leonard Korir 13:39.77 and fourth Augustus Maiyo 14:14.20. The female 3000m event was won by Kenya Ednah Kurgat in 9:14.78.
