World Athletics Medalist Bekh-Romanchuk Denied Reigning World Champion Malaika European Indoor Crown

It was sweet revenge for 2019 World long jump silver medalist, Ukrainian Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk over Reigning World Champion Malaika Mihambo on Saturday (6) in European Indoor Championship in Torun.

European Indoor Crown has been missing in Mihambo’s list of medals collection, but Maryna put paid to any chance of getting that. Maryna produce a sensation world leading jump of 6.92m to beat Malaika 6.88m efforts. Khaddi Sagnia was third with 6.75m jump.

Dutch hurdler Femke Bol won the 400m in 50.63s, British Williams Jodie ran personal best of 51.73s to pick bronze.
