The 24 years old Portuguese born Guinea Bissau star athlete, Jessica Inchude looks to have finally come of age in her shot put speciality.
An athlete of 16 meter thrower, who was fourth at 2016 Africa Championship and 36th in 2016 Rio Olympics; now ready to take on anybody.
At the Portuguese Pombal meet yesterday, Jessica increased the Guinea Bissau indoor shot put distance by throwing 17.75m beating Portuguese Francislaine Serra who pulled 17.06m. Even in Portugal no athlete has thrown furher except Auriol Dongmo, a former Cameroonean who completed her switch to Portugal in 2020.
It will be record that Jessica had earlier break the record in December 2020 when she threw 17.55m.
The former World University Game Champion and Portuguese discus- record holder, Francisco Belo was also in splendid form on Thursday (18). He won the shot put in 20.56m beating hard fighting Tsanko Arnaudov 19.47m throw.
