The Canadian multiple record holder, Gabriella Stafford-Debues has increased her dominance over Canadian middle distance as she notched another record in a new event, 3000m on Saturday (6) Prickly Pear Phoenix Invitational. The daughter of former Canadian long distance runner, Gabriella hold both indoor and outdoor record in 1500m, Miles and 5000m.
But in Phoenix, she shattered Jessica O’Connell 8:46.50s, Canadian 3000m record by stopping the clock at 8:38.51s.
In the men 3000m, British Mark Scott was a bit unlucky as he missed the national record by 2.41s winning in 7:36.08s.
