Top Notch High Jump In Russian Memorial As World Medalist Russian Akimenko Shows Class

An indoor meet in the memory of Yuri Lukashevich and Vyacheslav Seredkin in the compact Russian city of Chelyabinsk brought the best high jump on show.

The former Junior Champion and 2019 high jump world championship silver medalist, Russian Mikhail Akimemko first blaized the trait on Tuesday (19) of the meet by impressive 2.28 jump and followed by Daniil Tsyplakov 2.25m and 2.23 by Ilya Ivanyuk.

In the women high jump, Mariya Lasitskene did not disappoint as she won by jumping 1.92 while Kristina Koroleva 1.90 and Darya Slepova was third by also jumping the hight of 1.90.

Pole vault followed as Viktor Pintusov vaulted 5.72m in the male while in the female, Aksana Gataullina won by 4.67 and followed by Polina Knoroz who vaulted 4.62m.
