Daniel Rowden Won The Battle Of British At Zagreb Meet As He Beats Wightman With British Lead Time

The Zagreb Tuesday (15) Meet was full of vicissitudes of performances. But one of the highlight performance was in men 800m, which was turned to battle of british.

Jake Wightman has been the best British in 1500m and 800m with a fasted time by any british since 2012.

But in Zagreb, the newly crown british champion, Daniel Rowden and Elliot Giles had anothet thing coming for Wightman; as the duo’s coup blossom to push Wightman to third place in 1:44.85s. Daniel won in 1:44.09s to elipsed Wightman as the fasted british this season. Daniel’s time now tge third fasted 800m this time. Giles was second in 1:44.75s
