Super Win For Ortega But Simbine Narrowly Beats Cisse In Marseille

African Champion Akani Simbine was on narrow win in his first race after the lockdown, on Thursday 3, at Marseille Meet. He beats the Ivorian Arthur Cisse on the finish line in 10.19s to Cisse 10.21s.

Spanish 110h record holder, Orlando Ortega was in splendid form as he was close to his Spanish record of 13.04s as he won gallantly in 13.15s.

A very quick time was recorded in 800m by Kenyan Champion, Ferguson-Cheruiyot Rotich in beaten the ever improving British Elliot Giles. Rotich ran 1:44.34s to Giles 1:44.68s.

Laura Muir was a clear winner in 800m in 2:00.16s while Jemma Reekie won 1500m in 4:02.20s.

The African Champion, Ivorian Marie-Josse Ta Lou won 100m in a slow 11.40s.
