Stockholm Day For British With Good Outing From South Africa Ruswahl Samaai

A lot of British gave a good account of themselves on Sunday 23, Stockholm Bauhaus Gala. It was a complete British domination in 1500m as their record holder Laura Muir led in a winning time of 3:57.86 while Laura Weightman 4:01.62 and Melissa Courtney-Bryant 4:01.81, complete the 1,2,3 British sweep.

In 800m, Jemma Reekie did not disappoint as she comfortable win in excellent 1:59.68.

Adam Gemili also took the 200m in 20.61s but another British Richard Kilty was sixth in 20.87s.

World long jump bronze medalist, South Africa long jumper, Ruswahl Samaai was impressive in his first outing for the season, he came second in 8.09m.
