Marrietta Slows Down World Champion Gardiner But Nigeria Chidi Okezie Improved

The world reigning 400m Champion, Bahamas Steven Gardiner seems to be on retard kind of form; evident clearly on his performance in Marrietta Meet on Saturday 22.

Triple Bahamas record holder in 200m, 300m and 400m returned 10.35s in 100m. Gardiner started this season with a Bahamas 300m record of 31.83s in Florida on July 5; then top that up with scotching 19.96s in 200m on July 25, Claremont Meeting. Before another 20.19s in 200m August Marrietta Meet.

Nigeria Chidi Okezie improved on his 200m run last week to return 21.15s.
