Pan American Medalist Wesley Narrowly Missed In Reclaiming His Puerto Rico Record In Caguas

The Puerto Rico middle distance great and Pan American silver medalist, Wesley Joel Vazquez Vazquez was in devastating form of his life at a small Meet in Caguas, Puerto Rico on Saturday 1.

The 26 years old Bayamon born Puerto Rico 800 record holder, tried hard to reclaim his 600 Puerto Rico record snatched last year by fast improving Ryan Sanchez. But in a race without any push, he ended running 1.14.85 personal best shy away from record by 33 seconds. Andres Arroyo was second in 1:17.67.

In the women 3000 which was mixed race, Beverly Ramos finished in 9:25.26
