The Italian fastest man Filippo Tortu was in splendour form on Thursday 16, at Savona Italian Meet. Filippo was too strong for American born Italian Lamont Marcell Jacobs to win in his season best of 10.12 to Jacobs 10.14.
The European U-20 long jump Champion Larissa Iapichino was in the form of her life yesterday as she lauched her self to senior proper by jumping 6.80m which is the 8th of Italy long jump all- time list. That mark also broke Italian U-20 long jump record.
