The All African Games 5000 silver medalist, Kenya Rosemary Wanjiru Monica who moved to Japan as a teenager produce the best performance of Wednesday Japan Hokuren Classic in the city of Abashiri. Twice Kenya international exposure was quick in 30.38.18 to win the 10000 which would have been a new Japanese record if she’s running for them.
The Japanese Mao Ichiyama nickname Mao-chan was the best Japanese on display. The 23 years old, Hakodate and Nagoya women marathon Champion who has already made Japanese Olympics team broke her personal record in 10000 of 31.34.56 to run 31.23.30.
