In far away Switzerland, in the beautiful city of Lausanne; the Swiss attorney general Michael Lauber has found himself in trouble water after he was disciplined early today for misconduct during an investigation of FIFA . He failed to tell the truth about his 3rd meeting in 2017 with the soccer body’s president Gianni Infantino.
Lauber had previously acknowledged his two previous meeting in 2016 which he claimed “justifiable exchange” but remained silent for several months on the third one . He was subsequently fined 8% of his salary for one year for not speaking the truth and acted in disloyal manner, thereby violated the code of conduct of the federal prosecutor’s office, the ruling stated.
