The South America 200m Indoor Champion and Panama 200m power house Virjilio Griggs has been banned by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for 4 years. Grills in 2017 falsifying his 100m time to 10.11s in other to meet the standard for World Athletics Championship in London.
The 25years old sprinter has accepted the violation and is ineligible until July 23th, 2021, the World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal said in it’s ruling.
