Boston city of Massachusetts in United States witnessing the last chance Invitational Indoor Meeting at their local University, was agog with surprising record breaking performance yesterday on the first day of the three days meeting.
German’s Konstanze Klosterhalfen ran the fourth fastest 5000m indoor ever run when she broke Romanian Gabriela Szabo’s European 5000m record. The 5000m bronze medalist in Doha clocked 14.30.79s there by shaving 17s from former record. American Vanessa Fraser came second by returning 14.48.51s.
In 3000m, American Karissa Schweizer a 5000m finalist in last year Doha shattered American 3000m indoor record by running the 8th fastest 3000m indoor in history clocking 8.25.70s.
The meeting continue today and will end tomorrow.
