Records Fall In MillRose Games As Jemma Reekie, Donovan Blazier And Ajee Wilson Set New Record

The reigning World 800m champion Donovan Blazier has ran the 5th fastest 800m indoor and a new American record of 1.44.22s. Ellen Purrier took everyone by surprise by breaking Mary Slainy’s 37 years American mile record by 3s to record the second fastest times in history in 4.16.8s.

Jemmas in her form of her life by coming 3rd in the race and in the process breaking Laura Muir’s 4.18.75s British mile record set in Birmingham in February 2019 with a new time of 4.17.88s.

Ajee Wilson also broke American 800m female (indoor) with sensational 1.58.25s
