At Last Duplantis Has Broken The World Record

The American born Swedish Pole Vault sensational, Armand Duplantis has finally got his wish after erasing Renaud Lavillenje’ 6.16m world Indoor set in Donesty, Ukraine in 2014 to 6.17m. The 2019 World Championship silver medalist achieved this feat on his second attempt after six jumps in the competition.

The 20 years old swedish held the cheering athletics fan spell bound in the magnificent indoor stadium in Torun in Poland as a 4th leg of World Athletics Indoor. It will recalled that this will be Duplantis second outing this season after he cleared 6.01m in his first outing.
