The All Africa Game 2015 400m Champion, Isaac Makwala of Botswana ran a race of his life at IAAF World Challenge Madrid Meet{Real Federation Espanola de Athletismo} to run sub- 44s in 400m and sub-20s in 200m in a space of 50 minutes. In 400m he shattered the meet record to return in 43.92s the third best this year. The Botswana strong man then returned 50 minutes later to race to a sizling 19.77s the meet record and World leader time.
In the 400m, Nigeria Bamgbose Margaret was third in 51.75s behind the US Okolo Courtney{50.71s}. In 100m, Spanish base Nigeria athlete Ike Patrick Chinedu’s 10.43s could not get him into the final won by Cuban Perez Yunier in 10.09s after earlier ran 10s flat in the semi-final. Zambia Sydney Siame who was reportedly ran 9.88s in Zambia early in the year was fourth in 10.22s.
