The dominance of Tobi Amusan in this 2017 NCAA outdoor season is now reverbrating all over the world of athletics. An athlete that was struggling in dipping in and out of 13s has finally established her self this season as a 12 runner and one of greatest female 100m hurdler to have ever come out of Africa cum Nigeria.
Few hours ago, Tobi produced a near perfect hurdling to win her semifinal at ongoing NCAA D1 Track And Field Outdoor Championship in the city of Oregon. She won the second semifinal in a time of 12.79s to qualify for the Saturday final. The semifinal produced five sub 13s with Tobi leading the pack and followed by Jasmine Camacho-Quinn{12.84s}.
Teahna Daniels lead 100m qualifiers with a time of 11.17s while Deajah Stevens was surprisingly last to qualify with time of 11.29s. Sage Watson ran 54.66s to lead the pack of qualifiers in the female 400m hurdles.
The championship continues today with final of 100m, 200m and 400m for the male coming up.
