Little known Nigerian Glory Onome Nathaniel has won Nigeria first medal in the ongoing 4th Islamic Solidarity Games. The twenty one years old Nigeria female hurdler produced an impressive performance in the 400m hurdle inside the Badu Olympics stadium in Azerbaijan to win silver in a fast time of 55.90s; thereby shot to number 10th in the world. She was beaten by another Nigeria Oluwakemi Adekoya who now run for Bahrain in a time of 54.68s which now make her the second fastest in the world.
In the the same 400m hurdle, another Nigeria Ugonna Udu is now 13th in the world with a time of 56.01s while impressive Olwatobiloba Amusa sits on 4th in 100m hurdle with a legal time of 12.63s.
