Nigeria Female 4x200m team impressed in the World Relays in Bahmas early this morning. The Nigeria team comprising Jennifer Madu, Patience Okon George, Dominique Duncas and Ugonna Ndu did Nigeria proud. The Patience led team brushed aside all odds to improve on their 1.33.78s qualify time to take 5th in the final in a time of 1.33.08s. The Jamaica won the race by beating USA with a time of 1.31.97s.
The Nigeria female 4x400m team comprising Patience George, Ugonna Madu, Jennifer Adaeze Edobi and Margaret Bamgbose impressed the most by qualify for the final beating both Britain and Canada with a time of 3.31.97s. The US male 4x 100m team retained their title by winning in a time of 38.43s after the Jamaican had dropped baton in the heat.
Van Niekerk the World 400m record holder destroyed the whole South Africa 200m strong field on Saturday to win 200m at South Africa Championship in a World Leading time of 19.90s.
