The current African Ping Pong King Aruna Quadri dropped ten place in the latest March Table Tennis ITTF ranking after he failed to participate in the Single of Qatar open. He rested in the last open to regain his full fitness after a minor back injury there-by dropped points. He is now number 36th in the world from 26th with a total point of 2395. His conqueror in the quarter final of Hungarian open : Filus Ruwen of Germany is now 35th.
Assad Omar of Egypt was next African ranked ; he now occupied 59th from 51st. Next is another Egyptian El-Beiali Mahamed 173th, Abiodun Bode of Nigeria 199th, Onaolapo Ojo 301st, Kazeem Makanjuola 353th and Omotayo Olajide 530th to complete the ranking for Nigeria player.
In the Female, Egypt Meshref Dira { 101st} leads the rest of Africa with Nigeria young international Oribamise Esther holding on to 532nd.
